Update

I've really increased my daily walking activity now.
I'm averaging about 5 miles per day (3 of those I'd probably do on a normal day though just wandering about)
I still need to actually start some decent aerobic exercise, but I'm getting into my walking.
I just hope I can maintain the motivation.
Having a pedometer really helps.

Last weekend I had my first hill walk in the Chilterns with most of the team. We walked just over 5 miles in 2 hours of fairly solid walking.

I also had an AMS assessment and consultation at the Altitude Centre in London.
It was definitely an interesting experience and a bit of an eye-opener into how the body reacts to less oxygen in the air.

It all makes the trek feel very real.
